During your routine dental check-ups with us at SplenDental our dentists will:
• conduct a detailed examination to ensure your teeth and gums are as healthy as possible.
• perform Dental x-rays where required
• perform an Oral Cancer Screening.

Benefits of routine dental exam?

It is beyond doubt that Regular check-ups are important for your good oral health. Patients who have regular dental checkups have less chances of developing dental problems like cavities and gum disease. During your initial examination, our dentists will discuss your bespoke dental plan of action and will also let you know how frequent your routine checkups should be. These may vary from 3 months to 2 years, depending upon your oral health, your diet and any underlying conditions that you may have.

After exam

Once the exam is complete, the dentist will discuss all their findings with you. If you have any questions, please ask. We endeavour to make our patients feel reassured and happy before leaving the practice at every visit. The dentist may also recommend for you to visit our hygienist for a thorough scale and polish.

Was very nervous and had been putting off going to the dentist for years but I very much needed an emergency tooth extraction and so looked at dentists near to me and I’m so glad I found SplenDental Care! The receptionist was kind and polite and put me at ease the second I walked through the door and the dentist and his assistant were very professional but most importantly were very understanding and caring and everything was done within 15 minutes of walking through the door! Had really bad dental pain so typed into google ‘ emergency dentist. This place came up, so managed to get an appointment the next morning, dentist removed two teeth straight away and wasn’t too expensive as I had to go private, very helpful and would recommend to anyone who is in pain and needs urgent dental care
